The C840i induction hob achieves a 13A connection by restricting the maximum load to 3KW, this is done by cleverly limiting the combined zones to a maximum power level sum of 12. For example if you had boiling water on power level 6 on one zone you could cook rice on power level 4 and gently warm food on a third zone.
